The Jet Ski & Boater Safety Course, an 8 hour Certification Course will be taught by State Certified instructors. This course satisfies the requirements for operation of Jet Skis in NY State as well as pleasure boats in NJ and CT. It covers more than the basics required for the certification. A certificate of completion for this course also may qualify the boater for reduced rates on boat insurance.
The class will be given over 2 days - Saturday, February 9, from 1-5, and Sunday, February 10, from 11-3.
Regularly priced at $85.00, the cost of the class is $65.00 per person which includes admission to the Show for both days (2nd day's admission is FREE!). Class attendees are welcome to enjoy the rest of the Metro Boat Show on both days whenever class is not in session.
The class is open to anyone 10 years of age or older. An exam will be given. Pre registration is required, and seating is limited!
